Museveni Appoints Linda Nabusayi As New Senior Presidential Press Secretary Replacing Don Wanyama

Kampala: President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has appointed Mrs Linda Nabusayi Wamboka his new Senior Presidential Press Secretary replacing Don Wanyama who recently got appointed the new CEO of Vision Group.

This website has further understood that Nabusayi will officially take over the office on May 1st after Wanyama begins his role at Vision Group.

This comes few weeks after Don Wanyama was appointed the Chief Executive Officer of the Vision Group replacing Robert Kabushenga.

The Spy Uganda has since confirmed the good news from the excited Nabusayi as she couldn’t wait to take up her new role.

“It is true that I have been promoted. I thank the president for the confidence he has in me,” she confirmed.

Nabusayi who has served as deputy to Wanyama as the press secretary to the President was formerly a senior editor at Monitor newspaper before she joined statehouse in the mid-2000s.

During her days at Daily Monitor, she became famous via many controversial stories including the one that exposed President Museveni for insensitively sending one of his daughters to give birth in a Germany hospital.TheSpy Uganda wishes you well in your new office, Ms Nabusayi.
