Museveni Appoints Minister Sempijja’s Daughter Nameere As Presidential Advisor In Charge Of Greater Masaka

Kampala: The latest reports reaching up indicate how President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has appointed veteran TV personality, Justine Namerre as the Senior Presidential Advisor in charge of Greater Masaka.

Nameere is a daughter to defense Minister in the cabinet of Uganda Hon. Vincent Bamulangaki Sempijja.

The senior presidential press secretary, Lindah Nabusaayi, confirmed Nameere’s appointment on Tuesday, saying “she was appointed the presidential advisor in charge of the Greater Masaka region.”

Nameere lost the National Resistance Movement primaries for the Central Uganda youth MP flag to Agnes Kirabo, who went on to win the seat.

As a Senior Presidential Advisor, Nameere will be earning a whooping Shs10m per month.

The development comes days after the former NTV Uganda Presenter revealed that she is soon launching her own Television station in Greater Masaka, Kizungu, Masaka City.

TheSpy Uganda has learnt that Museveni also appointed; Police’s Godfrey Bangirana (advisor Human Rights) Bernard Mujasi, advisor for Bugisu affairs and Sarah Bananuka, advisor in charge of NRA archives and museum.
