He will be bagging over UGX30 million per month. To be exact, he will be taking a consolidated salary totaling to 30,259,900 (Thirty million two hundred fifty nine thousand nine hundred shillings only) per month, before taxes.
“In accordance with Part IV Section 14 (1) of the Uganda Civil Aviation Authority Act, Cap. 354, I hereby appoint you as Director General, Uganda Civil Aviation Authority, under the following Terms and Conditions of Service,” partially reads letter confirming Bamwesigye’s appointment.
Bamwesigye‘s confirmed job is a sigh of relief for him following a couple of accusations he has been battling for the past weeks involving presentation of falsified documents for the previous jobs; first as director Human Resource and Administration and later as the Deputy Director General.
According to the papers that were presented to the office of IGG by yet to be established petitioner, Kanyangoga was born in Nyarubiza, Ruhama in Ntungamo district on November 27 1963 but failed Primary Seven and assumed the names of Fred Bamwesigye who had passed but had no interest in further studies.
The petitioner further alleged that Kanyangoga used the latter’s results from Rwera primary School to join Kigezi College Butobere, where he studied for six years but failed UACE and had to repeat the class from Ntare School.
The petitioner added that the Director General further tampered with his O and A level results.
But as we report this now, all the above accusations may have been thrown into the trash, since one to scoop such a juicy job, his credentials must have gone through tight scrutiny.
Fred is remembered for having recently worked more harder, together with Uganda Airlines team in fast tracking the certification and approval processes of the two Uganda Airlines Airbuses unto the Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC), which allows the company to fly its planes.
In Our next issue, we shall profile for you the man from [RUHAMA], Ntungamo who has now officially fallen into things.
