Uganda’s President HE.Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has penned down a praising letter to Kim Jong Un, President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), commending his able leadership, reports Korea’s state media.
The Ugandan president in the message extended the warmest congratulations on behalf of the government and people of the Republic of Uganda and on his own behalf to Kim Jong Un and to the government and the people of the DPRK on the occasion of the 73rd founding anniversary of the DPRK, September 9.
The message said that the great devotion made by the preceding leaders, people and service personnel for defending the sovereignty of the DPRK would be remembered forever along with its national day.
Reports further say that the friendly relations between Uganda and the DPRK would be further strengthened in mutual interests of the peoples of the two countries.
Message added that Uganda hopes Korea will be reunified and the reunification of Korea will make a great contribution to world peace, progress and prosperity.
It hoped that the DPRK would remove the aftermath of the flood damage as soon as possible, expressing deep sympathy to Kim Jong Un and to the victims as regards the fact that dwellings and roads were destroyed and crops damaged by floods in different areas of the east coast including South Hamgyong Province of the DPRK.
Hoping to work together with Kim Jong Un, the message wished him good health and happiness.
