Museveni Registers With UMA As Local Artiste, Vows To Take Ugandan Music By Storm With New Album

Kampala: Uganda’s President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has fully registered as a member of the Uganda Musicians Association (UMA).

Spy Uganda has established that the President paid Shs 50,000 membership fees to the association. This was revealed in payment receipts displayed by Music Promoter Balaam Barugahare at Kololo Airstrip.

Museveni with a repertoire of good songs like Mpenkoni (Another rap), he last month announced was setting up a new recording studio which would be open to the public for business.

TSF Studios, located next to Lubiri S.S along Masaka road was fully funded by President Museveni in an effort to help mostly up-and-coming musicians record music and elevate their talents for as cheap as Sh10,000.

The album launch according to sources close to the president is scheduled towards the end of next year and will be used as a campaign tool.

According to Uganda Musicians Association, Museveni’s registration into the association is a good boost.
