Celebrated bumlicious musician Winnie Nakanwagi aka Winnie Nwagi is reportedly drowning her misery, loneliness and all frustrations brought about the Coronavirus (COVID-19) lockdown in endless booze binges.
Our Spies intimate that ever since Nwagi and other musicians were rendered idle by the COVID-19 lockdown which saw the closure of bars, night clubs and other recreational facilities, she has resorted to drinking booze as a way of killing boredom.
As a result, her pals reveal that she drinks from morning to sunset, guzzling liquors, whiskeys, spirits, vodkas, Uganda Waragi and any other bitter she comes across.
However, Nwagi’s raging thirst for booze comes at a time when President Yoweri Museveni recently warned Ugandans against engaging in drunkenness during the COVID-19 lockdown.
In his various national addresses about Coronavirus, Museveni has consistently urged Ugandans against turning their homes into private bars and instead cautioned them to use Waragi as a sanitizer to help in the prevention against the spread of COVID-19.
During his Tuesday night address on Coronavirus President Museveni said that whereas Waragi was destructive to Ugandans in the past and he did not agree with the idea of people drinking it, he is glad that nowadays it has become useful, because it helps on the fight.
However, bootylicious singer Nwagi seems to be one of those many Ugandans drinking the Sanitizer (Waragi) instead of using it to wash their hands and other surfaces as a way of fighting COVID-19. Â Â Â Â Â Â
