Nabusayi Finally Hands Over Office To New Presidential Press Secretary Walusimbi

Lindah Nabusayi Wamboka has on 5th August 2022 handed over the office of senior presidential press secretary to the newly appointed Sandor Walusimbi.

Walusimbi who scooped the State House job few days was the Anti- corruption Unit head of communications.

Nabusayi, who had been deputy press secretary for years, had replaced Don Wanyama who was months back appointed as the new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Vision Group.

After handing over the office she tweeted saying that it was the honor of her life to serve the president of the Republic before she stated that she has confidence in Walusimbi, calling him “great resourceful colleague.”

“It has been an absolute honour and pleasure to serve President Museveni State House and my country as Senior Press Secretary to the President of the Republic,” Nabusayi tweeted, “I am proud to hand over to a great resourceful colleague Sandor Walusimbi. Thank you dear Countrymen and Women.”

Walusimbi previously served as the head of corporate relations at Uganda Breweries Limited but also as Marketing Manager for East African Breweries Limited.

Having joined EABL in 1995 as a brand promoter, he was promoted to brand manager, innovations and commercialization manager, senior brand manager and marketing manager for spirits.

He has also previously served as the Airtel Uganda Public Relations Manager.
