Tycoon Hamis Kiggundu has confirmed that works at Nakivubo Stadium has reached final stages after the completion of installation of the the playing surface, turf and goals.
The above means any time soon the tycoon will announce the kick off of games at this multi billion stadium, one of the very few built by an African man raised in poor villages of Uganda.
After receiving the playing surface over a month ago, the artificial turf whose installation has been ongoing, is now fully fitted, and lines have been drawn in the usual white markings.

Last month, officials from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and the Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) inspected and witnessed the stadium’s progress and according to our sources, they were thrilled by the quality work they found on the ground.
