Kampala: Yea! it’s true he is famous in entrepreneurship, but he also has a mega-talent that has left a couple of Ugandans shocked including those he has competed with. We are talking about rally star and golf master, the ‘Volkswagen Polo Proto’ driver and recently appointed chairman central motor club youthful tycoon Rajiv Ruparelia.

Rajiv, who drives under the Rajiv Ruparelia Rally “Double Trouble” Team, and his co-driver and navigator Ronald Wallia since they started rallying, have created hard moments for top Ugandan rally drivers like Ponsiano Lwakataka, Jas Mangat, Ronald Ssebuguzi and Suzan Muwonge after the group losing a couple of competitions against Rajiv in the different rallies.

It’s against his shocking form of competition that NBS TV viewers have tasked the management to invite him to feature in their sports show of NBS The Score yearning to hear about sports inspirations from their rallyist. So it’s now confirmed that Rajiv will feature on NBS’ The Score this Sunday from 10pm,miss at your own risk.

Among the key competitions Rajiv has won hence proving that he is unbwogable 21st-century kid bloc include; the Federation of Motorsport Clubs of Uganda (FMU) 2019 Autocross event held on 23rd June 2019 in Kayunga, where he finished at an impressive time of 05:18.5, ahead of the experienced Lwakataka who came in second place at a time of 05:22.2. Ronald Sebuguzi came third while Arthur Blick Jr settled for the fourth position.

The son of tycoon Sudhir Ruparelia won his second race at the Auto Cross Rally in Kapeeka in 2019, again marking an impressive third outing in his ‘RR Double Trouble’ team in his VW Polo Proto, which was imported from Poland.

Rajiv also has experience in other fields like Quads, motocross bikes and buggies as well as tarmac racing not forgetting that he is a furious lion when it comes to golf competitions with skills that have ranked him higher than other rallyists.
