Former NTV journalist, Joel Khamadi has replaced Samson Kasumba as NBS ‘Live at 9’ news anchor.

Kasumba left Urban TV and joined NBS TV in 2016.

He announced his quit in a tweet stating thus; “At @nbstv nothing seems permanent…Great memories remain for now.”

Last evening Next Media Services CEO, Kin Kariisa shared a photo while in a conversation with Samson Kasumba and Joel Khamadi tweeting, “Transition can be troublesome and yet inevitable.”

When time for Live at 9 clocked, instead of Kasumba being on set, he was filmed driving home speaking about his end at NBS.

“And a season for every activity under the heavens, But i like verse 3 going in to 4, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to weep and a time to laugh, There is a time for Samson Kasumba but this is the time for Joel Khamadi, Thats life,” says Kasumba in the video he captioned thus;

“I shall always give my assignments my all whether they are the first ones or the last ones. Mine is to do what has to be done. (Xanax) It is what it is friends…”
