Kampala: In a bid to further position itself as a major player in Uganda’s media Industry, Kamwokya based NBS TV has raided BBS Terefayina’s luganda sensetional Zambaali Bulasio Mukasa.
The popular news anchor was unveiled today 23 July 2019 by Next Media’s CEO Kin Kariisa, and will be anchoring the Amasengejje news bulletin that airs from 7pm
Happily, Zambaali promised viewers to work with determination and all skills he had acquired for 12 years in Journalism.
“Those watching and listening to us on all our sites like Next Radio, I am Zambali Brasio Mukasa, I have come to work and also serve you,” he said.
He added that for the years he has worked in the media industry, he has
learnt many things.
“I have worked in the media industry for twelve years and the one who taught me
journalism told me that the things you do for your own benefit will follow you
when you die, but those you do for the society will stay even if you die,” he
revealed.
“These are the things that help a country to develop, therefore I have not come to serve myself but rather to serve my audience, so let us meet on NBS Amasengejje.”He added
According to Next Media’s chief strategist Joel Kigozi, NBS which is the leading television station in Uganda now will continue to scout out for new talents to give opportunity to young people who want to develop their talents.
Who Is Zambaali Blasio Mukasa?
Zambali is a Ugandan broadcast Journalist who started his carrie as a news anchor and reporter at metro Fm 90.8 before he moved to Beat and Capital Fm, and then moved to Bulange Mengo based CBS and BBS TV.
Next Media has earned a reputation of attracting and retaining prominent journalists; Among them news anchor Rukh-Shana Namuyimba, reporter Sheila Mugisha, political reporters Solomon Sserwanjja, Raymond Qataha Mujuni both from NTV and other Television presenters from rival stations that include; Zahara Toto, Anatalia Ozie both from Spark TV, plus Douglas Lwanga and MC Kats who were all poached from Nation Media Group’s NTV.
