The newly appointed Inspector General of Police Okoth Ochola through the Assistant Inspector General of Police M. M. Balimoyo has reshuffled senior police management team.
According to the documents we received by Spyreporter, Superintendent of Police (SP) Patrick Onyango is the new Public Relations Officer (PRO) for Kampala Metropolitan Police (KMP). SP Luke Owoyesigyire has been acting as the KMP publicist, SSP Rogers Chebene is now the District Police Commander (DPC) for Ibanda, SP Edward Kyalingonza is the new deputy Regional Police Commander (RPC) for Wamala from Savannah region where as SPs Edrisa Kyeyune and Jaffar Magyezi have been taken to Kabalagala and Mbarara respectively, having completed courses.
SP Emmanuel Ebyangambirwe is the new deputy RPC for Savannah after being transferred from the Human Resource Department whereas SP John Mwaule from Human Resource Management will now serve as DPC Rukiga. SP Andrew Siime will now join the Field Force Unit.
