Rotary International President Dr. Stephanie A. Urchick has called Next Media “a gift to the community,” highlighting the Group’s transformative role in amplifying Rotary’s stories and impact across Uganda.
During her Rotary Africa Magic Tour, Dr. Urchick made Next Media Park her sole stop in Uganda, praising the media powerhouse for its unmatched commitment to showcasing Rotary’s life-changing initiatives.
She remarked, “Rotary is a gift to the community. Next Media is a gift to this community. And together, what a great present for all the people who tune in and watch the wonderful things that you’re airing.”
From covering the Rotary Cancer Runs, which have raised substantial funds for cancer treatment, to highlighting projects that uplift lives across Uganda, Next Media has consistently used its platforms like NBS TV, AfroMobile, NBS Sport, and NBS Plus to amplify Rotary’s voice.
Dr. Urchick emphasized that Rotary’s work is often underrecognized globally, but Next Media’s extensive reach and compelling storytelling bridge this gap, ensuring Ugandans know about the incredible impact of these initiatives.
“I am impressed with the reach that you have, with the content that you display. I am overwhelmed and grateful to you for helping us get the message about Rotary to Uganda,” she added, affirming the unique partnership between Rotary and Next Media.
For Next Media, this collaboration is about more than visibility—it’s about creating real change. As Rotary gears up for the 2025 Cancer Run, Next Media remains steadfast in its commitment to informing and transforming, leveraging its platforms to further Rotary’s mission of service above self. Dr. Urchick’s endorsement solidifies Next Media’s place as a catalyst for impact and a true gift to the community.
