Next Media Issues Warning As Fraudster Posing As NBS TV Staff Targets Public

Kampala: Renowned Ugandan media house Next Media has issued a strong statement warning the public about a man, Mulinde Alvin, who is falsely claiming to work with their NBS TV brand.

According to the statement shared on their official social media platforms, Mulinde has been using a fake NBS ID to deceive people and steal equipment.

Next Media categorically denied any association with the individual, stating that Alvin has never been their employee. In their post, they expressed deep concern over such fraudulent activities, which not only harm victims but also tarnish the reputation of their trusted brand.

”We have no employee by the name Mulinde Alvin, who has been falsely claiming to work with Next Media through at NBS TV  If you encounter him making these claims, please report him to the police. We remain committed to integrity and professionalism”. Next Media said in a statement.

The media company further emphasized that they have a strict soliciting policy under which no employee is permitted to charge fees to cover news stories. Any violation of this policy is met with severe action. They called upon the public to remain vigilant, avoid falling victim to impostors, and report any suspicious activity.
