Kampala: According to the statement seen by TheSpy Uganda, the General-Secretary National Resistance Movement (NRM) Kasule Lumumba has gone to self-quarantine after getting exposed to COVID-19.
Kasule revealed through the statement addressed to party’s leadership and fraternity of the NRM and the country at large, that the three (3) of her handlers with whom she works with, yesterday tested positive for COVID-19.

As a result, Kasule said, “I have therefore taken advice from our scientists to immediately enter into self-quarantine as a precautionary measure, while I wait for results of the rapid test I have had to take.”
Results of COVID-19 tests done on 29 November 2020 confirm 314 new cases. The cumulative confirmed cases are 20,459.

The development comes after the Ministry of Health confirmed 314 new COVID-19 cases from tests done on 29 November 2020, bringing the cumulative confirmed cases to 20,459.

The Ministry also tested 4 deaths bringing the total deaths to 205.
