NRM Sec. Gen Lumumba Asks President Museveni To Reign On Her Rival Tanga Odoi To Save Party

The National Resistance Movement (NRM) secretary General Justine Kasule Lumumba has appealed to party’s National Chairman cum President Yoweri Museveni to call to order the Party’s Electoral commission boss Dr.Tang Odoi because he has become ‘a nuisance’ and a negative force within the party.

Kasule, said the actions of the NRM Electoral commission Chairman are undermining the integrity of the party and can only be called to order by President Museveni who is the appointing Authority.

Tang Odoi has on several occasions said the SG has failed on her duties except being a good dancer. Lumumba is the chief administrator of the party as Secretary General who reportedly fell out with Tang Odoi over funding of his office.

Lumumba said that the intrigue, selfishness and greed Tanga exhibits are undermining the strength of the party and therefore the president should call his staff to order.

“I have urged the president who is the chairperson of the party to intervene in our issue because am tired of Tanga’s nonsense” she said.

Kasule said this while addressing a press conference at the party Headquarters on plot 10 Kyadondo road on Thursday.
