Kampala: Kalangala District Woman Member of Parliament and pioneer member of Pan-African Pyramid, Hon. Helen Nakimuli Walusimbi is among the few women representatives who have secured ministerial roles in the recent cabinet reshuffle orchestrated by National Unity Platform (NUP) party president Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine.
At the helm of the newly formed cabinet that saw Mathias Mpuuga Nsamba dropped and replaced by Bobi Wine’s blue eyed boy, the Nakawa West MP Joel Ssenyonyi as the leader of opposition, is also the formidable and multitalented Kalangala district legislator Nakimuli who was appointed as Minister of Information communication and Technology and Anti- Corruption, a role that carries immense responsibilities and challenges given the political turbulences and corruption practices Uganda is facing in several public offices.
Having served as Minister of Animal Industries and Fisheries in the previous cabinet, Nakimuli is no stranger to adversity. Her track record in the opposition and her reputation for dedication to justice and transparency suggest that she is well-prepared to take on task.
In her capacity as the Minister of Information, Nakimuli will play a crucial role in disseminating accurate information to the public, contributing to transparency in governance.
Additionally, her role in anti-corruption efforts places her at the forefront of addressing a long-standing corruption problem in Uganda which requires both determination and strategic planning, and Nakimuli’s appointment reflects the trust placed in her abilities to lead this fight. Nakimuli is also a renowned Pan Africanist and pioneer member of Pan African Pyramid since 2014, who has participated in all its humanitarian activities physically, emotionally and materially. In one of her old photos before becoming MP, while in Bidi Bidi Refugees settlement, Helen is seen breaking down to tears upon seeing the health conditions some girl child was under going. Helen felt helpless and was seen hugging her several times in a bid to comfort her before donating clothes to the ground.

WHO WE’RE:
PAN-AFRICAN PYRAMID read more about here; https://panafricanpyramid.com/ is an intellectual non-partisan discussion forum built on the Pillars of PAN-AFRICANISM, PATRIOTISM and NATIONALISM whose Ideal/pre-occupation is to REVIVE intellectual discourse among the youths with a bias of re-constructing our lost Pan-Africanism, patriotism and Nationalism Values and spirit.
We are a non-profit, non-racist organization fully registered under the laws of Uganda on 14th July 2016.
At PAP, we don’t practice RACISM, NO, because RACISM is a sign of extreme backwardness. We instead, discuss topical social, economic and political issues across Africa and the world.
Topics are deliberately conceptualized to address deficiencies by filling in the perceived gaps in the levels of awareness to generate knowledge and solutions to African problems, first by Africans themselves. We do this without fear or favour.
The show is broadcast live at Fairway Hotel in Kampala every Friday 5-8pm and a recorded version of the same telecast on NBS Television every Saturday 4-5pm.
The Pan-African pyramid is the only ‘FREE YOUR MIND’ People’s Pan-African parliament which brings together African races to discuss positive issues that are germane to the total economic and social liberation of Africa and its people.
OUR VISION: To articulate the concerted efforts geared towards promoting the true African Awaking amongst the BLACK people throughout Africa and in the Diaspora, and galvanize inventions and innovations of the African people.
OUR MISSION: To REVIVE intellectual discourse among the youths with a bias of re-constructing our lost Pan-Africanism, patriotism and Nationalism Values and spirit.
WHAT IS PAN-AFRICANISM? Pan-Africanism is an ideology and movement that encourages the solidarity of Africans worldwide. It’s based on the belief that unity is vital to economic, social, and political progress and aims to “unify and uplift” people of African descent. The ideology asserts that the fate of all African peoples and countries are intertwined. At its core Pan-Africanism is “a belief that African peoples, both on the continent and in the diaspora, share not merely a common history, but a common destiny”
The pan-African pyramid is propagating for a new Pan-Africanism concept. The new Pan-Africanism need not to be based on race, skin or color, but IDIOLOGY. It advocates for the unification of Africa by economic development and Trans-African trade, and not by political actors only, but by corporate business entities.
