Kampala Metropolitan police spokesperson Luke Owoyesigire confirmed the arrest saying the investigations are still on going to arrest all the gang members.

However, his work mates and family members have denied all the allegations being leveled against him in such criminal operations on grounds that he has never had any military training.

Last week a group of unknown people circulated a list containing religious leaders, cultural leaders, police officers and politicians who are to be hit including Buganda Kingdom Premier Charles Peter Mayiga, Kampala Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago, Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine, Ntungamo Municipality MP Gerald Karuhanga, Rubaga North MP Moses Kasibante and Deputy police spokesperson Patrick Onyango among others.

Police has increased vigilance and security on the listed people to deter criminals from hurting them.
