One person was confirmed dead and several others injured after they got involved in a horrible accident along the Jinja-Kamuli Road on Sunday afternoon.
Spy Uganda has learnt that the terrible accident occurred when a taxi that was heading from Kampala side to Kamuli knocked a Boda Boda, before it swerved off the road and landed in a trench.
Eyewitnesses reveal that one person, a yet to be identified lady, died on spot, while the Boda boda rider and several passengers in the taxi sustained grave injuries.
At the time of filing this story, traffic cops from Kamuli Police Station were yet to arrive at the scene.
It should however be noted that cases of tragic accidents have become rampant in the recent past and several Ugandans have lost their loves in this wave of accidents.
