For the first time in history, the kingdom of Buganda is set to allow a royal princess to get married to a non-Muganda.
This comes after our Spies revealing that city marketer Gareth Onyango is set to walk down the aisle Buganda monarch Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II’s daughter Victoria Nkizi
Impeccable sources intimate that the Lion of Buganda Kabaka Mutebi a few days ago saw it fit to accord audience to Onyango and his family, during which they discussed the modalities of his taking Princess Nkizi as a bride,
We have since established that the meeting was so fruitful and at the end of it, Onyango and his family agreed to foot preparations for the wedding, which has since been budgeted at Sh2Bn.
What is even most interesting, according to our Spies at Mengo Palace, is that the Monarch hinted on making a presence at the wedding should Onyango and his family make the necessary preparations that befit the presence of a king.
We recently revealed how Onyango and Nkizi had gotten engaged at a romantic private ceremony. Now Spies reveal that the couple, after getting the blessing of the Kabaka and members of the Buganda royal family, is slated to hold a massive wedding in November this year, although the exact date is still a secret, due to the sensitivity of the function.
It should be noted that Onyango hooked Princess Nkizi in 2018, shortly after falling out with his baby mama and ex-lover Nickita Bachu, who is currently dating a city businessman who is also into motor rally driving only identified as Ambrose.
