Parties in Mbale enjoyed life to the fullest on Saturday night during the Johnnie Walker Highball tour, which kicked off in Mbale town on Saturday night.
Parties who thronged the event held at Hotel Tanjia in Mbale town were treated to thrilling performances from various artistes, who included Pius Mayanja aka Pallaso, Fik Fameica, among others, with mixes from popular disc spinner Selector Jay.
Our Spy who was at the gig reveals that “Revellers had the best of their time, grooving to Pallaso’s tune and vibes from other artistes, who included musicians from Mbale.”
The Spy added that “However, what made the night most interesting at the gig that was hosted by TV Star Sheila Saltofte was the endlessly flowing cocktails of Johnnie Walker whiskey, which revellers sipped all throughout the event.”
Parties, especially those who had bought bottles of Johnnie Walker, also won themselves several gift hampers.
We have learnt that after Mbale, the Johnnie Walker Highball tour, which is slated to thrill parties in five districts in Uganda, will continue to Jinja, Gulu, Mbabara, Kabarole (Fort Portal) .
Saltofte, who was the emcee of the night said that “Whether served with ginger ale, or soda – a Johnnie Walker Highball is the perfect drink to unwind with. Refreshing and easy-to-drink, the Highball is an ideal introduction to the world of whiskey and can be garnished to bring out the individual flavours of Johnnie Walker.”
The show that started at around 8:00Pm left no reveller complaining, because they partied from dusk till dawn when the gig ended at 5:00Am on Sunday morning.
