In a momentous gesture of solidarity and recognition, Founding Speaker and Chairman of the Pan African Pyramid (PAP), Andrew Irumba Katusabe, has arrived in West Africa, marking a significant step for the international delegation of Pan-Africanism. Katusabe’s journey, which began early in the morning [22nd, Jan] aboard Ethiopia Airlines, has taken him across multiple countries before landing in Burkina Faso. His flight itinerary included stops in Addis Ababa, Niger’s Niamey, and ultimately Ouagadougou, where he landed at 3:10pm local time.

While in Burkina Faso, comrade Irumba will be key guest on various events including,

1. The Gala Evening – A grand celebration bringing together esteemed personalities for a night of recognition and entertainment.
2.The Burkimbila Village – A vibrant exhibition space highlighting cultural heritage, innovation, and economic opportunities.
3.The Caravan – A dynamic journey symbolizing unity and progress across various key locations.

Also, while in Burkina Faso, the Speaker is expected to conduct a special awarding ceremony for the president, where he is going to be awarded as the revolutionary leader of all times, at a state dinner. He will be accompanied by formidable Pan African Pyramid membership picked from across Africa and diaspora including his mentor and teacher, Bishop Maponga Joshua from Zimbabwe, Dr Waka Waka from Chicago USA, Daniel Sindjeu from America, Winnie Mandela from Kenya, among others.

Before departing for the trip, Irumba in an impromptu interview with our reporter passionately spoke about the mission, emphasizing that the delegation’s visit would serve as more than just an award presentation. “We will reaffirm to Capt. Traoré that Africans, both on the continent and in the diaspora, stand firmly with him in this struggle for a liberated and self-reliant Africa,” Irumba said.

Capt. Ibrahim Traoré, who has become an iconic figure for his resolute leadership and bold policies, stands at the forefront of a movement that seeks to free Africa from the shackles of foreign influence. A proponent of economic independence and national self-determination, Traoré’s leadership has brought hope to many Africans who are still grappling with the lingering effects of colonial exploitation.

His policies aiming at reducing dependency on foreign aid and fostering sustainable, homegrown solutions to development, echo the revolutionary ideals of legendary Pan-Africanists such as Kwame Nkrumah, Thomas Sankara, Julius Nyerere, and Patrice Lumumba. Under his stewardship, Burkina Faso has become a symbol of resilience, defiance against neo-imperialism, and a nation committed to the dignity and welfare of its people.

Now, Irumba said this recognition is not just for Traoré’s political achievements but for the broader message he embodies: that Africa can stand tall on its own, charting a path toward true sovereignty and collective prosperity. “Africa must have the capacity to recognize and honor its own when they do good. Capt. Traoré is a symbol of what we can achieve when we take charge of our destiny.”

The delegation’s visit is both a tribute to Capt. Traoré’s leadership and a call to action for all Africans—across the continent and in the diaspora—to unite behind the ideals of Pan-Africanism. By supporting leaders like Traoré, Africa reaffirms its commitment to a future where the continent controls its own narrative and destiny, free from the weight of colonial history and external exploitation.
