Kampala: A group of selected People Power stalwarts led by their leader Member of Parliament Robert Kyagulanyi ak Bobi Wine held a Celebrity Mass at Lubaga Cathedral on wednesday, during which the legislator spat venom at government for blocking his concerts.
Bobi Wine converged with several politicians, artistes and other celebrities for the celebrity mass at Lubaga cathedral.
The mass was led by the cathedral Parish Curate Fr. Simon Peter Ssekyanzi, who cautioned artistes to positively utilize their talents to help others benefit and spearhead the development of the country and also spread the word of God.
Fr. Ssekyanzi also advised them that all success comes after struggle and sweat. He urged them to carry the cross on behalf of others if it’s necessary for the vision.
Meanwhile speaking to the media immediately after the mass, Bobi Wine said the mass was aimed at seeking protection from God in the trying moments of political pressure in the country.
He also rebuked the government for blocking his music concerts and assured his fans that come what may, his dream will come true.
The mass was conducted under the theme “Good is good” and animated by Good News choir of Lubaga along side the heavy security deployment by police, army and plain clothed operatives.
