Kampala, Kibuli: The Muslim community has today held prayers for their colleague Sheik Nuhu Muzaata Batte who succumbed to ‘normal sickness’ at IHK hospital Kampala.
The major event for Muzaata’s send off has been held at Kibuli Mosque, Kampala presided over by a couple of mourners including Supreme Mufti, Sheikh Siliman Kasule Ndirangwa, National Unity Platform Presidential Candidate Hon Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine among others who praised the deceased for being a fearless person when it came to defending his religion and its properties.
Speaking about Muzaata, Kyagulanyi praised him for the love he showered him noting that every time he faced political hardships, Muzaata was always there to advise him and sometimes cancelled him where he went wrong.
Kyagulanyi noted, “Am in much pain for the death of my friend Muzaata because of the love he had for me and the way he stood upright to cancel me whenever i went wrong. But am much disappointed that my friend has died before the government fulfilled his request to produce a report on a number of Muslim clerics that have mysteriously died amidst governments watch and silence.
