Kansai Plascon-Managing Director Santosh Gumte while unveiling the promotion at Serena Kampala Hotel yesterday, he emphasised that the move aims at pushing the Plascon brand in the minds of customers and to strengthen the company’s relationship with customers through various touchpoints including country-wide trade activations and online engagements.

“We appreciate and reward our dealers, customers and painters for their loyalty and continuous support throughout the years we have been here in Uganda. Your commitment to Plascon has led us to numerous successes and milestone achievements. This continues to affirm our position as Uganda’s biggest paint company and for that, we want to say thank you,” Gumte said.

Plascon National Sales Manager-Kato Moses explained that the promotion is triggered by the drive to make customers celebrate with Plascon for successful ten years in existence by purchasing paint and winning numerous prizes. “The 10th edition being a celebration is going to be slightly different this year. We shall offer consumers an opportunity to win cash, as well as a home paint makeover and motorbikes,” Kato stressed.

“Celebrating 10 years is a great achievement, we want to engage you on what the promotion is all about, how to enter the draw and to also inform you what is at stake. We will have regional activities across Uganda visiting the peripheral towns to engage with our customers.” Daniel Kayongo, the Kansai Plascon Brand Manager said.

Commenting on how they relate to the community, Kayongo said this year, Plascon will donate Shs 45million worth of items to Entebbe Grade One Hospital for spearheading COVID-19 pandemic treatment cases in 2019. The donation is part of Plascon’s corporate social responsibility programme for 2021.
