Police Arrests 80 Suspects At Bobi Wine Kyarenga Concert!

Police arrested over 80 suspected criminals during the Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi also known as Bobi Wine’s Kyarenga concert at Busaabala beach on Saturday.

The suspects reportedly being detained at Kabalagala and Katwe police divisions were apprehended on accusations of engaging in offences such as pick pocketing, drug smoking, fighting and being a public nuisance.

According to the Kampala Metropolitan police spokesperson Luke Owoyesigyire, Police will screen the suspects on Monday to ascertain the true charges identities.

However, Owoyesigire applauded revellers for being peaceful and respecting the day’s security plan.

Meanwhile unconfirmed reports indicate that 43 Bodaboda motorcycles and seven cars were impounded for abusing traffic regulations on Entebbe highway while going or returning from the Kyarenga concert.
