President Yoweri Museveni has Friday October 4, 2019 appointed various judges to the High Court and three justices of the court of appeal.
Among the appointed new judges is the Inspector General of Government (IGG) Iren Mulyagonja, who has been appointed as Justice of the court of appeal.
The appointments were made effective by a letter president Museveni wrote to the Judicial Service Commission titled ‘Appointment of Justices of the court of Appeal and Judges of the High Court.’
In his letter, Museveni States that “In exercise of the power vested in the President by the 1995 constitution of the Republic of Uganda and on advice of the Judicial Service Commission, I have appointed the people below as justices of court of Appeal and judges of the court.
