In a bid to convince all Ugandans that they can do exercises from their homes and prevent the spread of COVID-19 by maintaining social distance, President Yoweri Museveni on Tuesday unveiled the 40 Push-up challenge during which he beat several Bazukulu who participated.
Just like his first 30 Push-up Challenge, Museveni did the 40-Push-up challenge inside his living room at State House Entebbe, where he first jogged around the room before doing the press-ups.
Shortly after doing the 40 Push-ups, some of the Bazukulu who were watching the President exercising also tried it but none of them could be his match.
In order to encourage other Ugandans to embrace the culture of exercising at their homes amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, Museveni shared a video of him exercising, which he captioned thus; “After work last night, I challenged my Bazukulu to an indoor work-out. We did Forty Push-ups.
Just like I have always advised, even at your own home, you can stay safe, and remain fit and healthy.”
