President Yoweri Museveni on Friday officially endorsed the growing of weed in Uganda after launching a Cannabis growing company called Industrial Hemp Uganda.
SpyUganda has learnt that the deal to give Industrial Hemp the green light to start planting ‘weed’ (ganja) in Uganda was brokered by rapper Atlas Da African, who is remembered for doing a collabo with Jose Chameleone titled ‘Champion’ some time back.
We have learnt the President took it upon himself to tour the ‘ganja planters’ at their Greenhouse farm in Kawempe division, where they exhibited some of the harvested marijuana.
