President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has returned from Tanzania, where he had gone to attend a business forum and has headed straight to St. Lawrence College, where he the Chief Guest at the National Teachers’ Conference, which is already happening.

Shortly after touchdown at Entebbe International Airport this morning, Museveni tweeted thus;
“From Tanzania, where I launched the Uganda-Tanzania business forum. I now head to St. Lawrence College in Maya, Wakiso District, to officiate at the 2nd National Primary School Teachers’ Conference.”

Over 4000 primary school teachers have Saturday morning converged at St. Lawrence College School in Maya for the 2nd annual National Primary School teachers’ conference, which is a ending today, having started on Thursday.

As many as 50 primary school teachers will be awarded the 2019 National Teachers’ Prize for their outstanding performance during the Conference.
