President Museveni’s Secretary Remanded For Grilling EC Officials To Employ Her Relatives

Kampala: Ms. Kembabazi Caroline, an Assistant Private Secretary to H.E The President, has been charged and remanded to Kigo prison for giving false information to the Human Resource Officer at the Electoral Commission Uganda.

The 31-year-old Caroline has been remanded by Buganda Road Chief Magistrates Court till next year on 6/1/2021 on charges of grilling and threatening EC Human Resource citing that the President tasked her to get jobs for 3 people whereas not.

According to the Court document, Kembabazi between the months of November and December 2020 being employed at state house Uganda as the Private Assistant Secretary to the President in charge of poverty alleviation in Western Uganda, verbally gave false information to the Human Resource Officer of Electoral Commission that the President assigned her to get employment opportunities for Magezi Kenneth, Muramuzi Duncan and Abomeire Ela as Assistant District Registrars whereas not.
