President Received Musisi’s 21 Paged Resignation Letter,He Will Respond-Opondo

Consequent to the shocking news of the Kampala Capital City Authority Executive director Jenifer Musisi’s resignation on Monday, Government spokesperson Ofwono Opondo confirmed that the letter was officially received by the President and that he will respond at an appropriate time..

Mr.Ofwono said this on Tuesday at the Uganda media centre while addressing journalists.

Musisi served as the founding Executive Director KCCA (Formerly Kampala City Council) since April 2011. Her contract, which was renewed for the second time early last year, was supposed to run out in April 2020.

However,Musisi shocked Ugandans when she decided to throw in the towel on Monday in a 21 paged resignation letter to president Museveni.

“This is to submit my resignation from position of Executive director, Kampala Capital City Authority with effect from 15th December 2018” read part of her letter to president Museveni.
