Rajiv Graces Official Launch Of Joe Kigozi Academy, Pumps Dime Into Project

Youthful city tycoon Rajiv Ruparelia has pumped millions of dime into the Joe Kigozi Academy (JKA) which was launched on Sunday at Lugogo Grounds.

JKA is a unique soccer academy that was started up by NBS Chief Strategist Joe Kigozi to scout for football talent among children and mould them into football stars.

The launch which was attended by hundreds of Joel’s fans was also graced by who is who in the city, among them tycoon Rajiv Ruparelia who was guest of honour,Chairman Kampala Capital City Authority ( KCCA) Aggrey Asaba, founder Corporate Games Ian Rumanyika who doubles as PRO URA, current Uganda Sports Press Association ( USPA) president  Patrick Kanyomozi, chairman Next Media Group, Baguma Rogers, Humprey Nabimanya, the CEO Reach a Hand, among others big shots in the city.

Rajiv lauded Kigozi for the great initiative of starting up such a great project that’s aimed at nurturing the young generation and empowering them.

He told hundreds of guests who attended the event thus; “In order to succeed, one has to be disciplined and ready to work hard.”

Rajiv also emphasized the need to identify and develop talent at an early age, because it’s the best way to fight poverty and unemployment among youth.

As a way of accelerating operations at the Academy, Rajiv donated Shs5m to JKA and promised that the Ruparelia Group would give the project all the support it needed in future.

It should be noted that Raiiv is also an avid sportsman who has made a name for himself as a champion Motorsport driver.
