City businessman Rajiv Ruparelia, who also runs his father tycoon Sudhir Ruparelia’s Meera Investments Limited, officiated over the Kampala Parents School end of year party, which was held on Friday, as chief guest.
The party was Thanksgiving ceremony to God for making the school, pupils, teachers and parents complete the year 2019 and to start 2020 alive and well.
We have also learnt that the end of year party also doubled as an appreciation for last year’s P.7 candidates who sat for the Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) last year and scored very good grades, with many in Division one and a few in Division two.
Our Spy at Kampala Parents’ School revealed that while pupils enjoyed snacks and sodas, they were being entertained by Uganda’s youngest rapper Patrick Senyonjo aka Fresh Kid.
The pupils later mixed and mingled with their teachers who steered the dance sessions, till they cut and ate, after which one by one they all retired home with their parents, many of them with gifts they had won for excellent performance.
