S. Sudanese Singer Slate Nation, Pallaso In Mega Collabo

Popular South Sudanese musician Ngot Peter Mou Athuai aka Slate Nation, of the ‘Paindu’ fame, is working on a new album with Ugandan dancehall star Pius Mayanja aka Pallaso.

Our Spies reveal that Slate Nation, who has done several songs like ‘Juba Juice’, ‘Nyanbim’,
‘Girls Dem Hotter’ Ft. Captain Dollar, ‘Anatabani’, ‘Panda Awiel’ and others, is currently working on his new album, which will, apart from Pallaso, feature collabos with several other Ugandan artistes, including Dr Jose Chameleone .

One of the popular modern day musicians in South Sudan, Slate Nation began his music career in 2007 as a choir member in Don Bosco Missionary School Tonj.

In 2010, Slate Nation formed a music group called T.E.C Hiroz, recording their first song ‘Come Back Home,’ which he dedicated to all the Sudanese people who left the country during the Civil War to return back.

The tune became very popular amongst several South Sudanese living in the diaspora and was a basis for many of them to return to their country.

He made his breakthrough with his song ‘Juba Juice’ in 2015 and in April 2016 Slate Nation did his first International collaboration with Ugandan dancehall artiste Pallaso on their song ‘Binia Giafa’ (Beautiful Girl), which rocked airwaves from Kampala to Juba and beyond.

Ngot Peter Mou Athuai is a South Sudanese-born Australia-based artiste and songwriter, who is popularly known as Slate Nation. He was born in Thiet, a suburb of Tonj State.
