Kampala: The sad news reaching on our desk indicates that former Kazo MP Gordon Bafaki has died.
Bafaki replaced former works Minister John Nasasira as Kazo MP in the 2016 elections but was ousted by Dan Atwijukire Kimosho in a hotly contested 2021 election.
Reports indicate that the former legislator’s life was ended by a fatal road accident that occurred at around 3:00am [today morning] along the Northern bypass in Kampala.
The cause of this accident is yet to be revealed by Uganda Police Traffic Directorate Police.
Little known about the [now] deceased is that he was born on November 9, 1976. He was a politician, businessman and professional teacher.
He attended Ntambazi primary school in Kazo before joining Kanoni Secondary School for his O’Level education.
He later switched to Standard High School Zzana where he finished his A’level that saw him joining Makerere University where he scooped Bachelor’s Degree in Education.
