Sad! Kampala Parents’ School Deputy Principal Odoi Leopold Dead!

Kampala: The Kampala Parents’ School Deputy Principal Mr Odoi Leopold has been announced dead this morning leaving total grief to his lovely pupils at the school.

Ministry of Health Statement On Odoi’s Death

This has been confirmed by the Mulago Hospital medical certificate of death dated November 17, 2020, which revealed that the deceased succumbed to Broncho-pneumonia.

The development has further been confirmed by the School management through a statement reading thus;

“The Management and staff of Kampala Parents’ School regret to announce the demise of Mr Odoi Leopold who has been the Deputy Principal in charge of academics, whid occurred on Monday, 16th November 2020. The late succumbed to Broncho Pneumonia which resulted in difficulty in breathing coupled with recurrent hypertension.

Burial is today Wednesday, 18th November 2020 at their ancestral ground in Ivumbangab Bugiri District at 2:00 p.m. Kampala Parents’ School fraternity is grateful and will forever live to remember dedicated service, diligence and the hard work he exhibited during his twenty years of service.

May the Almighty God rest the deceased’s soul in eternal peace. Due to the above reason, the P.7 class meetings which had been scheduled for Thursday 19th and Friday 20th November 2020 have been called off till further notice.”

The 65-year-old social worker has been eulogized by a couple of his students including Jim the Jopher who tweeted, “Rest In Peace Mr Odoi Leopold 💔🕊 (Deputy Principal Academics- Kampala Parents school).”

Others are Mark who tweeted, “This is extremely sad to hear. May his soul rest in peace.”
