Scores Feared Dead After Baby Coach Overturns In Nasty Accident Along Fort Portal-K’la R’d

Several people are feared to have died and others sustained gravious injuries on Monday morning after a bus they were travelling in overturned while on  its way from Bundibugyo along Fort Portal-K’la road. The accident happened around tea estates area.

Traffic Police  officers at the scene revealed that the accident occurred after a Baby Coach bus registration number UBB 481B lost control and skidded off the slippery tarmac, before it flipped onto its back side.

By the time of filing this story the  police were still waiting for a breakdown to tow the bus wreckage, to ensure that it did not fall on passengers as they tried to jump out through the windows.

However, this is not the first time a Baby Coach bus is getting involved in a deadly accident. Two people  died in July this year after the Baby Coach bus they were travelling in got involved in an accident in Kyenjojo district.

The accident that involved a Baby Coach Bus Registration No. UBA 756Z and a Fuso Lorry Registration No.UBC 049B, occurred at Villa Maria, Kaihura Trading Centre in Kyenjojo District at around 6:45pm. James Kazooba,one of the survivors, said the Bus and the Fuso Lorry collided head on.
