Sheebah Dumps Jeff Kiwa, Starts Own Music Label

By Spy Uganda

Celebrated songbird Sheebah Karungi aka Queen Sheebah  has unceremoniously dumped her Team No Sleep (TNS) manager Jeff Kiwanuka aka Jeff Kiwa and started up her own label called Sheebah Establishments Limited.

Sheebah’s dumping Jeff Kiwa followed a protracted war between the singer and manager, which involved squabbles over money and property.

Our Spies have learnt that before their final split, on February 2, 2020, Sheebah and Jeff Kiwa were involved in what could be their parting meeting.

It is said the meeting had been convened by Kiwa to try and stop Sheebah from unveiling her own record label, but his pleas landed on deaf ears.

Spies reveal that the meeting ended without any resolution, because Sheebah simply kept humming to Jeff’s requests.

He only woke up on Monday to news of Seebah starting up her own record label, Sheebah Establishments LTD, which will henceforth be responsible for marketing her music, promoting her songs.

However, the split is set to spark off one of the biggest legal battles in history, because most of Sheebah’s music is owned by TNS, meaning that she  will have to seek permission from TNS before performing any of her old songs.

But Sheebah on the other hand insists that as the singer, she owns these songs and will perform them without Jeff’s permission.

We’ve also learned that there is a clause in her contract with TNS in whic Jeff copyrighted the Sheebah’s name as a property of TNS.

Therefore, Sheebah may have to get a new stage name or else buy the patent ‘Sheebah’ from TNS.

Besides that, Sheebah and  Jeff are said to be beefing over her house in Mukungu, Munyonyo, a city suburb.

Although Sheebah claims to personally own the house , word has it that Jeff has a huge stake in it and asserts that he wants to take over what is his.
