Sheema School Director’s Farm Manager Arrested Attempting To Bribe Police With UGX900,000 To Release His Jailed Boss

Sheema: Yesterday
Thursday, TheSpy Uganda exclusively broke the story of a school director
in Sheema District, a one Tayebwa James, 50 years of age, who was arrested
after he was caught red handed with 6 stolen cows, which he allegedly stolen
from Sheema District on gun point.

Tayebwa, the managing Director of Tynet International
Primary School in Kyamarebe Cell, Kitura Sub-County in Kiruhura District was
arrested and later six of the stolen cows were reportedly rescued from his farm
where he had been hiding them.

Now, the latest we have on the same is that, his farm manager, a one Agumenaitwe Naboth, 46 years has also been arrested by the same police for trying to buy his boss’ freedom at shs900,000/=.

Sheema Central Police station CID officer Charles Tukahiirwa nabbed Naboth when he his office and handed over a parcel to him, only to open and found shs900,000/=.

He immediately called his enforcement personnel and was led to the coolers to join his boss who has been in for several days now.

 It’s alleged that Naboth
had gone to police to rescue his boss who has several case files of alleged
theft.

SP Martial Tumusiime, the greater Bushenyi police spokesperson
said Agumenaitwe will assist police with more information about his boss’
suspected criminal acts.

Martial earlier this week told our reporter that Mr.Tayebwa
is a notorious thief who has been using a gun to intimidate people while
stealing cows using his pick up vehicle Reg.No.UAN 719U, which was this week
impounded with five stolen cows in Ishaka Town In Bushenyi District, but
Tayebwa escaped although they caught his driver who took police to one of his
farms in Rutookye Sub-County, Mitooma District, where they rescued eleven
suspected stolen cows. The vehicle has since been packed at Sheema Central
Police station.

Our Spy Uganda reporter on ground in Sheema was reliably
informed by Police that Mr.Tayebwa has up to eight file cases of theft and
robbery in Sheema police station alone, and that it was alleged he has more
case files in other police stations which they were compiling to have joint
charge sheets.

1- 19/2/2019: Mr.Tayebwa is alleged to have stolen one cow from Tumusiime Ronald of Rwanama Cell, Kyamuraari in Bugongi Town Council under file number REF SD 11/ 20/2/2019

2- 29/10/2019: Alleged to have stolen four cows from Kyogabiirwe Allen of Rwabizi Cell Kyamuraari Ward Bugongi Town Council, under file no. REF SD 04/29/10/2019

3- 24/11/2018: Alleged to have stolen one cow from Ssemanda Oliver area Councilor Bugongi Town Council under file case no. CRB 42/2020

4- 23/11/2019: Alleged to have stolen three cows from Mwesigye Richard Mutooro of Kashenyi Bugongi under case file no. CRB 113/2019

5- 3/12/2019: Tayebwa is alleged to have stolen three cows from Kahaasi Yafeesi of Katwe Cell Kyabandaara in Sheema Municipality under case file no. CRB 923/2019

6- 23/11/2019: The same Tahebwa is alleged to stolen three cows from Batiri John of Kashenyi Cell in Bugongi Town Council

7- 30/7/2019: Tahebwa is suspected to have stolen theree cows again from Richard Mwesigye Mutooro of Kashenyi Bugongi Town Council under file case no. CRB 921/2019

8- 24/11/2018: He is alleged of stealing one cow from Mutuuzi Joy of Kyamuraari on file case no. CRB 41/2020 and finally

9- 11/2/2019: Tayebwa is alleged to have stolen two cows from Mugarura Mirriam of Kyamuraari.

Martial added that Tayebwa would be taken to courts of law
this week where he will be charged with cases of theft and robbery as they
continue to investigate the whereabouts of the alleged gun he was allegedly
using to carry out the said crimes.

Meanwhile, three cows rescued from his farm have already
been handed over to their respective owners.

Mutuuzi Joy, 67 years old woman from Bugongi Town Council
who got her cow back, said her and her grandson were put on gun point by
unknown men who came with a vehicle and loaded her only cow she had in her
life. She thanked Sheema police for rescuing her only cow. (restorehealthky.com)
