Kampala: Several people are suspected to have died this evening after a trailer truck lost control and rammed into several vehicles along Kira Road.
According to eyewitnesses at the scene,  the  fatal accident  occurred at the Kira Road traffic lights which joins Bukoto, Ntinda, Kamwokya, and Lugogo bypass.
The tragic incident happened after the driver of a trailer that was  transporting tiles lost control and ended up ramming into six vehicles which include a commuter taxi, several saloon cars and a Pioneer bus. By press time details about the accident victims were still scanty, although traffic police and volunteers are still at the scene trying to rescue some of the victims.
