Singer Sheebah Karungi Officially Drops Her Latest ‘Samali’ Album

Kampala: Sheebah Karungi a Ugandan recording artist, dancer and actress, years after quitting obsessions, a dance group she joined in 2006, she rose to fame upon the release of her project dubbed ‘Ice Cream’ in 2014.

The ‘Ice Cream’ project, which comprised of five-tracks, according to our insiders in the Queen Sheebah’s camp, it did well commercially and  made her one of the house hold names in the music industry which later drove her to HiPipo music awards that she won as the ‘Best Female Artist’ in 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018.

Not only that, but she also won the artist of the year awards twice in 2017 and 2018 and also won the ‘Best Female Artist’, of the year award in 2019. 

The Nakyuka hit maker Sheebah Karungi, yesterday on Monday, August 17, 2020 registered another record after she officially released her new album dubbed ‘SamaIi’ that has since caused stress to her competitors.

The singer has been working on this album for almost a year now, and although some songs are already out, many of them are still in the pipeline.

‘Samali’ comprises of 18 songs, which include Tevunya, Enyama, Nakyuka, Exercise, Nyanda, Ninda among others which she has collaborated with singers Fik Fameica, King Saha, Chance Nalubega among others.

Although putting this work together was hard work for Sheebah as our sources say, Sheebah credits her great team of producers like Nessim Pan Production, Producer Ronnie, Daddy Andre, Artin Pro, Diggy Baur, Eno Beats and Alexander Muge, whom she says did a great job of producing the songs on the album.

Sheebah also disclosed that songs on the album were penned down by several artists including, King Saha, Ragga Dee, Kalifah Aganaga, Daddy Andre, Nick Mulla, Nikoly, Frank Lion, Song Boss, Ronie and Yakubu.

The Swagg Mama has so far released a number of albums ever since she reigned in the music industry that include, Ice Cream, Nkwatako, Beera Nange, Sheebah’s Greatest Hits, and now Samali which is already conquering the media waves.
