Kampala: Senior Communications Officer at Judiciary, Solomon Muyita has thrown in towel and joined the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development as the new publicist, TheSpy Uganda has learnt.

According to reports, Muyita handed over the Judiciary office on Friday, August 13 after six years of service in that position.
In his message, while handing over the office, Muyita lauded Judiciary management for giving him an opportunity to work with the institution.
“Comrades, on August 13, I officially handed over my duties of the Judiciary. It’s been an incredible 6-year journey as Judiciary’s pioneer professional spox, ” he said.

He further noted; ”I want to say thank you. I will now focus on my new publicist role at Energy Ministry. Looking forward to the usual support.”
It’s worth noting that before joining Judiciary, Muyita had had a short stint at the defunct WBS TV as a station manager.
Muyita had previously also served as Corporate and Regulatory Affairs Specialist at the British American Tobacco company in Uganda.
