The State House Anti Corruption Unit (SH-ACU with Uganda Police have today arraigned Ayebare Isma, the Chairperson of Rwakakoore ‘A’ PDM SACCO in Rwanjogyera Subcounty Isingiro District before the Grade One Magistrate’s Court in Isingiro, for obtaining money from hundreds of peasants by falsely informing them that it is a requirement before benefiting from the program, whereas not.
”Other culprits are on the run and are being sought by police. He has been remanded until 14/08/2024,” says the Unit.

SH-ACU was established under Article 99(4) of the constitution of Uganda, which gives the President executive powers to either directly or indirectly perform his duties or through officers subordinate to him.
Launched on 10th December 2018, SH-ACU coordinates with all constitutionally mandated agencies to ensure a corruption-free country.
The Unit also acts as a link between H.E. the President, citizens, and anti-corruption agencies in relation to Anti-Corruption issues.
