State House Anti-Corruption Unit Successfully Settle Disputes On Contested Nnabagereka Foundation Land

State House Anti Corruption Unit has successfully settled disputes on Nnabagereka Foundation land in Mpuga and Ssisa-Wakiso district.

Now, yesterday, State House Anti Corruption Unit together with Ministry of Lands and the Nnabagereka Foundation hosted the local leaders of both Mpuga & Ssisa to share with them findings of the survey undertaken to document the portions they occupy & agree the next steps.

The above came after the Unit had presented the final reports on the successful Map findings of the bibanja occupants on the Nnabagereka foundation Land in Sissa & Mpuga to her Royal Highness Nnabagereka Sylvia Nagginda.

In her remarks, Her Royal Highness the Nnabagereka, thanked the Unit, Ministry of Lands & other stakeholders for succesfully completing the exercise & guided the meeting on the next steps of acertaining the legal occupants but in any case find an amicable solution for both parties.

Now in yesterday’s meeting, the parties agreed in principle that no one would be evicted from both plots but rather they would enter into negotiations in order to coexist. They also fully acknowledge that the Nnabagereka Development Foundation are the true owners of the land.

In his remarks Owek. Christopher Bwanika Attorney General Buganda Kingdom thanked State House Anti Unit for working tirelessly to curb tensions on the contested land. (Klonopin)
