Sheema: Sheema District woman legislator Hon. Jacklet Atuhaire Rwabukurukuru has refuted circulating rumors by some politicians and opportunists of her having ill friendship with the Sheema municipality MP Dr. Elioda Tumwesigye.
While speaking to residents during a fundraising to complete a 4 block classroom at Kyabutamo primary school in Rushozi division, Sheema municipality, Jacklet said there are some people misleading the mass by spreading evil news about their friendship with the Minister which she termed as “wolokoso.”
“We are building Sheema as a group and its you voters who gave us that authority, am sure you want us to deliver services not hate, but i feel so touched and disappointed when I see some few leaders want to destroy our leadership before we finish giving you services,” Jacklet said.
She continued, “I want to tell you this my good people, yesterday we had a fundraising at Ankore Western University, where we collected millions of money, some were already speculating and spreading evil words that since Hon. Elioda is at the function, I wont attend but i was with him where i contributed 11 million, haters and opportunists should stop confusing you, the way you see me here wondering is the same way he wonders,” Jacklet said.
She (Hon. Jacklet) asked voters to support their leaders in good faith with an aim of obtaining services from them because there is no way people can get services when local leaders are fighting each other.
“Be part us in good faith and we deliver services to you, when he reached here he called me and when he was leaving he also called me and told me that he gave you 30 bags of cement, i have also given you Shs2 million cash. if you add there 30 bags of cement for sure the building will reach somewhere, that’s the leadership we need, the leadership of unity, please stop listening to rumors,” Hon. Jacklet.
On the same fundraising ceremony, where Jacklet contributed Shs2 million cash, she pledged to give the school a computer system in November.
