Kampala: Tooro United football club have confirmed signing midfielder Ibrahim Kayiwa and defender Arthur Kiggundu from Express FC on a one year employment contract each.

Both players saw their contracts at Wankulukuku expire and efforts to renew them met a dead end, prompting the move.
Kayiwa previously played for Vipers SC and Kirinya Jinja SS (now Soana) while Kiggundu played for record champions SC Villa.

The move to the Buhinga based side implies a reunion between Kayiwa, Kiggundu and former coach Wasswa Bbosa.

The two join new players at Tooro United who include goalkeeper Chrispus Kusiima, Derrick Tekwo, Denis Mugerwa, Gerald Lule and Charles Musiige.

Tooro United finished 4th last season on the log of 16 teams and will play against Onduparaka FC in the Pilsner Super 8 on Sunday 4th August.
