Top ADF Commander Captured In Congo To Be Repatriated To Uganda

Kampala: Top ADF commander Benjamin Kisokoranio who was captured in DRC earlier this week will be repatriated to Uganda-TheSpy Uganda has learnt.

Benjamin Kisokorania who heads the Jamil Mukulu faction was captured by the Congolese army at Uvira on his way from Burundi according to a tweet from UPDF top authorities.

It’s not clear when he shall be returned back to Uganda and the charges that shall be preferred against him.

Speaking to journalists on Wednesday at the Mountain Division Headquarters in Fort Portal, Major Peter Mugisa, the spokesperson of the Mountain Division said that the capture of Kisokorania will boost the ongoing joint operation by the UPDF and the Congolese army, FARDC.

Mugisa said the Congolese army is still holding Kisokorania, as they plan to hand him over to the UPDF. He adds that Kisokorania is believed to be one of the original members of the Allied Democratic Forces during the times of Jamilu Mukulu.
