Uganda Police Force has today passed out 39 officers after successfully completing Senior Command and Staff Course. The ceremony was held at Police Senior Command and Staff College Bwebajja.
The Course that commenced on 9th April 2021 sees 39 officers graduate in different disciplines.
These officers are from the rank of Assistant Commissioner to Superintendent of Police and were drawn from different directorates of Uganda Police.
Among those that graduated include Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson Patrick Onyango who via his socials shared; “One year course is coming to an end today. It was a journey worth taking.”
Meanwhile, the above ceremony was graced by (RTD) Major General Kahinda Otafiire, Minister of Internal Affairs who was the guest of honour.
Also, in attendance was Deputy Inspector General of Police Major General Kasigazi Tumusiime who represented the IGP, Director Human Resource Development, AIGP Godfrey Golooba, AIGP Edward Ochom, Director Operations Uganda Police Force, Director General Uganda Management Institute Dr James Nkata.
