The sad incident of shooting by the KPI guard reveals that number private security organisations have low levels of professionalism simply because of lacking proper vetting systems and training programs for their personnel.
Most often, these company contracts are focused on cost rather than service quality levels and this in turn has led to a number of service discrepancies which are not reported and in fact hidden from the clients. Many clients only find out the discrepancies in service after an incident has occurred.
The laxity in most of these Private Security Organisations has been as a result of the steep increase in demand of security guards meaning that many people are in security bussiness for monetary gains than actual provision of security.
It’s believed that only a few security service providers have an active strategy to combat crime, instead they list a number of services that are merely an alternative to that of their competition.
